Magnum is a very good Joomla! Template that can be used for your Joomla website and show a Blog Category. It has a great slider and portfolio option that you can use to show the introduction articles.
With the rigth images in your slider you can impress your visitors and get them to read more on you site.
Setting up a Joomla Blog is not that difficult, you just need to be aware of some things before your start to create your articles.
First thing your need to do is to create a section (or category in Joomla! 2.5) that will hold all the categories of the topics you want to blog about.
In my case that is a section called Joomla Blog....pretty cool he?
After that, create the categories for your blog section.
I logged in to my WordPress.com account this week to find out what was happeing with my old blogs seo4joomla.wordpress.com and joomloblogging.wordpress.com as they are deactivated.
Because I also have an Dutch account for WordPress.com (that is back online) I found out that my Joomla SEO website www.pathos-seo.com has been black listed by WordPress.com
Every blog on wordpress.com that has a link to that site is automaticlydeactived.
Because those blog are not as active as before I exported the blogs and imported them on a new domain http://www.seo4blogs.com only thing left is to upload the images again.
Just wanted to let you know how much I'm enjoying your book and i've learned so much already.
